Presented by Carrie Cooper, CPLC, CGC
Organize A Difference, LLC
As Professional Organizers & Productivity experts, we thrive on bringing our clients proven strategies and techniques to help them lead more successful, productive days. But what happens when tragedy strikes in our own lives, or our clients? Grief is a topic that no one likes to talk about, but everyone needs to hear. In this presentation, we will be taking a deeper look into grief and loss and discover what it has to teach us. As we do so, we will be better equipped to cope with our own bereavement, as well as show up for our clients in their time of need as well-informed and compassionate professionals.
This presentation will help NAPO members to:
● better understand grief, the grieving process, and the impact that unresolved
grief holds on life
● increase their awareness of the myths, stigmas, and judgmental perceptions
that surround grief and loss
● learn best practices in supporting clients in their loss, specifically those that
foster a more empathetic and productive work environment
