NNJ Chapter Meeting
Presented by Gena Rho, Emerge Somatics
SPECIAL NOTE: This is an active and interactive presentation. Comfortable clothes that one can move easily in is best.
Somatic Movement education in the tradition of Thomas Hanna offers us a powerful method to address tension, pain and resistance in our body. If left unaddressed, our daily habits at work and in life become life long patterns of tension resulting in chronic pain. Hanna’s method offers us a unique method to notice habits that interfere with the fullest expression of ourselves and how to effectively change them to support the life you desire.
At tonight's meeting we will bust the myth that pain and limited movement are part of growing older, discuss the reality that how we live and feel in our body affects all aspects of our lives, and learn a highly effective method for releasing muscle tension and feeling better in your body.
Gena Rho is a movement educator, dancer, yogini and certified Essential Somatics Clinical Somatic Educator.
